Hey there! I’m Mariel.

I’m a professional photographer, a Mom, and an enthusiastic maker of all things. I’ve always got some sort of project on the go, and this is a collection of all the things I’ve made and learned that I think are worth sharing.

I’ve got a long list of interests (that grows all the time), but I especially love: gardening and growing food, hanging out and learning new things with my kids, making art, thrifting, finding new and budget friendly ways to live more sustainably, and working on making our 90’s townhouse a cozy and unique home, one small project at a time.

I also make because I know that when I make something myself, that’s one less thing that needs to be made in a factory somewhere many miles from my home, and shipped half way around the world to arrive on my doorstep…
